She stood in the stone room waiting. There was no light save for the banking fire. She was naked except for a robe of fine brown linen belted in front with a simple cloth sash. Her breath puffed out in warm little clouds. Her small soft feet padded the room silently. She should feel nervous waiting for him to come to her but she was not. She had been born for this. She had known it since she first saw him. She had heard whispers of him for the past few years around Stormwind and from her cousins in nearby Ironforge. She prostrated herself before him and then looked up and smiled. “Is it time?” She asked the question almost breathlessly. He nodded silently and held a hand out to her. She grasped his hand tightly in excitement and allowed him to help her up. She stood before him and gazed into his eyes. He gently turned her and plaited her hair into a thick braid down her back, securing it with a leather thong. He turned her again to face him and rested his hands on her shoulders. His hands trailed down her arms to the belt that held the robe closed. His eyes never left hers as he untied it and let it fall to the floor. He stopped and looked searching for fear or reluctance in her eyes. “I am not afraid.” She smiled as she spoke and opened the front of the robe exposing her body to him.
